I work as a Deputy Director for an Operational Department at an international airline company here in Kuwait, and I hold an Airline Transport Pilot License and I’m certified to fly a single and twin engine aircraft. I got educated in Kuwait and then studied Aeronautical Science and did my Pilot Training in the United States and Qatar.
My interest in amateur radio was awakened when I was 12 years old and my dad gifted me an 11M radio transceiver. I joined Kuwait Amateur Radio Society (KARS), having gained my A Class Call-Sign(9K2KU).
Anyway the net result was that I didn’t buy an HF rig, but using the KARS one. I am also looking in the direction of MOBILE and AERONAUTICAL MOBILE HF, VHF, UHF DXing!
If HAMs are going to use the internet.. Let's encourage them to use:
Echolink, D-STAR, DMR, AllStar, WIRES, CODEC2, SYSTEM FUSION, and BRANDMEISTER; and to talk to as many different HAMs around the world as possible.
RADIO + INTERNET = JOY !
In this time of uncertainties (COVID-19), it is a good time to rebuild & reset my HAM shack.
I've been a supporter of the radio hobby for some time, I'm a member of the Kuwait Amateur Radio Society (KARS), the American Radio Relay League (ARRL), the United Nations International Amateur Radio Contest DX Club (ARCDXC), the Arabian Gulf DX Group (AGDX), and a member of the World-Wide DX Linking System on Echolink + DMR. I have many achievements and is the recipient of several international awards, and a number of international radio amateurs' competitions.
It would be an honer to receive The Ernst Krenkel Medal Award. I have global and outstanding contributions to the world of HAM Radio, and this comes in light of historical relations that extend for decades between nations, helped in the growth and development of common principles and visions that unite us, and initiatives that express Feelings of brotherhood and close relationships between the peoples of the world.
