Born in Curacao, Dutch West Indies , in the Caribbean on October 6th. 1945.

When at my late uncle's house, PJ2CJ, I would listen to Ham Radio; and what interested me most was CW.

When I went to the Netherlands for further study I enrolled into a Ham class in the city of Arnhem.

January, 16 1980 I got the license PE1FTY

January, 15th 1984 I got the call PB0ADX

January, 5th 1985 I passed for PA3DVP (full license)

Back to Curacao I got in September, 6th 1985 PA3DVP/PJ2

July, 22nd 1986 I got the call PJ9CM (guest call)

and January 15th 1991 I got PJ2CFM.

I worked a lot of stations in those years.

I was from 2010 till 2020 the Vice President of AARAI

(Adventist Amateur Radio Association International), with about 3000 members all over the world.

The last 15 years I am the Treasurer of our local club VERONA (Vereniging voor Experimenteel Radio Onderzoek in de Nederlandse Antillen).
